As of 3 p.m. on 17 August, mailboxes from functional email addresses can also be switched to the Exchange platform. This means that collaborative management of e-mails, calendars, contacts and tasks in larger teams and at central contact points will be possible again at the UDE.
The prerequisite for this is that the functional mailboxes are currently on the UDE mailbox server, and the main email address of the assigned owners is in the domain „@uni-due.de“.
However, permissions assigned and used in the past are no longer available. Therefore, it is necessary that the individual users of the corresponding addresses are granted this authorisation again. This is only possible if the users have converted their personal mailboxes to Exchange themselves.
The changeover takes place in the self-care portal of the Centre for Information and Media Services (https://selfcare.uni-due.de). It is irrevocable.
