[28.6.2023] Commissioning of the time recording system PWS

Dear colleagues,

after intensive preparatory work, the PWS time recording system will be available again from 1 July. This means that from this date onwards your actual daily working time will apply again, which you stamp – as before the cyber attack – at the time recording devices when you are present at the respective campus.

Unfortunately, for technical reasons it is temporarily not yet possible to use PWS from the home office. You will find instructions on this in the information on the website.

We are aware that you will have many questions about your flexitime account due to the long period of system shutdown. In order to be able to answer as many of them as possible in advance, we have published comprehensive information on the re-commissioning of PWS on the website of the General, Economic and Other Personnel Matters, Central Benefits Office (AwP) from today onwards.

Please take the time to read the information carefully!

We would like to point out in advance that there is still a lot of data to be entered. We ask for your understanding that the correction of each individual account will take some time and therefore ask you to refrain from telephone enquiries about your flexitime account for the time being, so that the administrators have time to carry out the extensive re-entry. Only in this way will the accounts reflect a correct status in the foreseeable future.

If there are any problems with system accessibility or speed on 3 July due to increased access to the system, please try again at a later date.

Thank you for your patience and support as we bring PWS back online.

With kind regards

Britta Oppermann
